What you will be doing
- Coordinating recruitment activity so candidates and managers have a smooth, professional experience.
- Ensuring safer recruitment and pre‑employment checks are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintaining vital records, systems and the Single Central Record with confidence and care.
- Supporting onboarding, induction and probation processes so new colleagues feel welcome and supported.
- Responding helpfully and professionally to HR enquiries.
- Working closely with HR colleagues, managers and external partners to keep everything aligned.

- Experience of working in an HR, recruitment or people services environment, supporting recruitment, onboarding or operational HR activity.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and processes accurately.
- A high level of attention to detail, particularly when handling compliance‑related documentation and confidential information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, professional support to managers and candidates.
- A helpful, approachable and team‑focused attitude, with a genuine commitment to providing good customer service.
- A process‑driven and methodical approach, with the ability to follow procedures and identify issues early.
- Confidence working with HR systems, databases or spreadsheets, and maintaining accurate records.
