Lecturer - Carpentry in Newport, Wales

Salary up to £36,519 per annum based on experience and qualifications.

Permanent Contract, 39 hours per week, which will reduce to 37 hours per week from 1st August 2026 with no change in salary.

• Teach practical carpentry and joinery skills that learners can actually use on site
• Demonstrate industry-standard techniques — first fix, second fix, bench joinery, and safe use of tools
• Show learners how and why things are done properly
