The Isle of Skye Brewing Company is looking to recruit a full time Assistant Brewer to join its small, friendly team on Skye. This is an opportunity for someone enthusiastic about the craft beer industry to build hands on experience within a working brewery, with full training provided and the opportunity to gain recognised brewery qualifications for the right person. Previous brewing experience is not essential, but a strong work ethic, good organisation, and a genuine interest in beer and brewing are important.
Responsibilities
- Working alongside and reporting to the Head Brewer, you will support all aspects of brew production and distribution.
- Duties will include assisting with brewing processes, mixing grain, cleaning brewing vessels, filling casks, monitoring fermentations, and maintaining accurate and timely production records using brewery software.
- This is a practical, physical role and will involve some heavy lifting.
