Main function of the job:

To promote and sell The Irish News as an effective advertising medium in print and digital. Deal with customers sensitively with family announcements.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Achieve personal monthly and annual revenue targets for each of your areas of responsibility.
  • Handle sensitive scenarios with family announcements.
  • Source prospects and leads, developing new clients and achieving new business targets for your area.
  • Sell on an inbound / outbound telephone call basis.
  • Keep customer records and sales sheets accurate and up to date within the CRM system.
  • Provide Manager with a daily and monthly activity and sales report.
  • Maintain highly professional sales standards.
  • Provide an excellent degree of customer satisfaction to all the clients in your area.
  • Represent The Irish News at events, build partnerships and encourage brand growth.
