PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Logistics Executive will work as part of the Procurement Performance Management & Logistics. This position is an outreach position for a highly motivated individual to fulfil incoming orders for our clients.
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Prepare detailed, accurate shipping quotations for the sales team, covering domestic and international deliveries.
- Ensure all quotes include appropriate costs for packing, crating, freight, duties, taxes, insurance, and white-glove delivery/installation.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the sales team on all shipping-related pricing queries.
- Provide quick turnaround on quotes to support sales conversion and client satisfaction.
- Manage and coordinate international shipments from origin to final delivery, ensuring a seamless end-to-end process.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and last-mile delivery partners.
- Oversee shipping documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificate of origins if needed and export/import paperwork.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and Incoterms.
- Manage returns, damage claims, and after-delivery issues in coordination with after sale & quality team.
- Maintain accurate data in the ERP system (order tracking, lead times, carrier performance KPIs).
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Fluent in English and Intermediate level French is preferable.
- Strong interest in luxury and/or design.
- Computer literate with good experience of Microsoft Office suite.
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
- Experience of working with ERP systems is desirable.
- Comprehensive knowledge of customs regulations, including HS code classification, import VAT and duties, temporary admission procedures, and returned-goods management.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proactive and solutions-driven, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence internal and external partners to drive alignment and achieve business objectives.
