This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a varied role, and wants to play an important part in growing and nurturing a vibrant professional community. Working in a small, highly collaborative team, you’ll be central to engaging with members and partners, maintaining strong relationships, and supporting the delivery of our programme of events and activities.

We’re based at Birchin Court in the heart of the City of London. We operate a hybrid work structure, with two to three days a week in the office and increased presence around key events.

About the Role

As Membership Executive, you will be a key point of contact for our members and prospective members. You will ensure we maintain excellent service and high-quality data, driving member recruitment, engagement and retention.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for all membership enquiries
  • Managing and maintaining accurate CRM records for members and prospects, including membership renewals
  • Coordinating marketing and outreach campaigns targeting potential members
  • Identifying and following up on new membership opportunities
  • Supporting and attending Society events to interact with current and future members
  • Using digital communication tools and social media to promote membership and wider Society initiatives
  • Overseeing the activities of the Society’s Membership Committee

This is a hands-on role where you will see the impact of your work every day, and you’ll gain insight into investor relations and the wider financial markets as part of your professional development.

About You

You’ll bring a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a strong sense of ownership. The ideal candidate may already have experience in a membership or subscription environment. An understanding of investor relations and financial markets will be an advantage.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • A team ethos and commitment to delivering an exceptional member experience
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills
  • Strong administrative experience, ideally including CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • A professional, customer-facing approach
  • A collaborative mindset with the willingness to support colleagues across the team
