About The Role
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will design, build, and optimise high-quality user interfaces across our data-driven applications. You’ll work with designers, backend engineers, and ML teams to create seamless, performant, and visually compelling experiences. This role suits someone who enjoys solving complex UI challenges and helping shape the frontend capability as we scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain modern, performance-focused frontend applications across web and desktop platforms.
- Develop and optimise reusable UI component libraries for consistency and efficiency across products.
- Translate UX wireframes, prototypes, and design concepts into accessible user interfaces.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and manage data flows for end-to-end experiences.
- Establish and champion best practices in coding standards, architecture, documentation, and frontend processes.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain quality, scalability, and maintainability.
- Implement testing strategies using Jest, Cypress, or Playwright to support robust releases.

What We’re Looking For
Senior frontend engineer with strong technical ability and a mindset to shape a growing engineering function.
Essential Experience & Skills
- 6+ years in a Senior Frontend or equivalent role.
- Strong HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, ES6+ expertise.
- Deep experience with modern UI frameworks (React preferred; Svelte or similar considered).
- Experience building scalable, data-rich applications and managing complex state.
- Experience developing reusable component libraries or contributing to design systems.
- Proficiency with RESTful APIs and backend integration.
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and implementation.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright for unit and E2E testing.
- Strong debugging skills for performance and browser issues.
