This is not a conventional general manager role. It is something altogether different. As Castle Manager, you will be the beating heart of this property - part host, part leader, part guardian of an extraordinary heritage. Operating within an ultra-luxury, privately hosted model, you will curate deeply personal experiences for guests.

What You'll Do

  • Shape the identity of a brand-new Irish luxury castle from the very beginning
  • Lead a hand-picked, elite team within an intimate, high-touch environment
  • Deliver flawlessly personalised guest experiences with no two days the same

  • Build relationships with luxury travel advisors and key local partners
  • Ensure full regulatory, safety and compliance standards are upheld

Who You Are

You bring 3-4+ years of senior luxury hospitality leadership, ideally within a castle, country house, or ultra-luxury boutique property. You understand that at this level, emotional intelligence is as important as operational precision. You are calm under pressure, instinctively hospitable, and deeply discreet. Experience with Forbes 5-Star, LQA, or Michelin 3 Keys standards is highly advantageous, as is a background in pre-opening properties or exclusive-use venues.

Preferred Background

  • Full-service luxury castles or private country houses
  • Ultra-luxury boutique hotels or private residence director roles
  • Exclusive use / private hire properties for weddings and events
  • International luxury hospitality - Ireland experience a plus
