A rare and exceptional role has emerged at one of Ireland's most exciting new luxury historic castle in the Midlands, opening its doors to private clientele for the very first time. This is not a conventional general manager role. It is something altogether different. As Castle Manager, you will be the beating heart of this property - part host, part leader, part guardian of an extraordinary heritage. Operating within an ultra-luxury, privately hosted model, you will curate deeply personal experiences for guests.
What You'll Do
- Shape the identity of a brand-new Irish luxury castle from the very beginning
- Lead a hand-picked, elite team within an intimate, high-touch environment
- Deliver flawlessly personalised guest experiences with no two days the same
- Become the custodian of a genuine piece of Irish heritage and history
- Position a new property at the very top of the Irish luxury hospitality market
- Oversee all day-to-day castle operations - accommodation, dining, grounds and events
- Be personally present at key guest moments: arrival, dinner, departure
- Lead pre-arrival guest profiling and bespoke journey planning
- Maintain immaculate presentation and operational standards throughout
- Recruit, coach and develop a small, cross-trained high-performance team
- Build relationships with luxury travel advisors and key local partners
- Ensure full regulatory, safety and compliance standards are upheld
Who You Are
You bring 3-4+ years of senior luxury hospitality leadership, ideally within a castle, country house, or ultra-luxury boutique property. You understand that at this level, emotional intelligence is as important as operational precision. You are calm under pressure, instinctively hospitable, and deeply discreet. Experience with Forbes 5-Star, LQA, or Michelin 3 Keys standards is highly advantageous, as is a background in pre-opening properties or exclusive-use venues.
