ITIA Overview

The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) is an independent body established in 2021 by International Governing Bodies of Tennis (ITF, ATP, WTA and Grand Slams) to promote, encourage, enhance and safeguard the integrity of professional tennis worldwide. The ITIA administers the Tennis Anti-Corruption and Tennis Anti-Doping Programmes and is supervised by a Board which consists of five Independent Directors and four Tennis Member nominated Directors, representing the funders. Purpose of the Role

This role will sit within the Intelligence and Investigations team and provide support to the Senior Director of Intelligence and Investigations and the Intelligence and Investigations Manager in the delivery of a best-in-class Investigations service to the ITIA.

Responsibilities:

• Initiate and undertake investigations in accordance with the Tennis Anti-Corruption Program (TACP) and the Tennis Anti-Doping Program (TADP)

• Collate and review information, including physical evidence, digital information, betting data and oral accounts.

• Conduct comprehensive investigative interviews both in person and online, often through interpreters.

• Write case reports, witness statements and evidence summaries.

• Provide witness evidence at case hearings.

• Attend tournaments in order to provide support, deterrence and investigative capability.

• Work closely with the ITIA Legal team in relation to case preparation including drafting reports, documenting exhibits and evidence schedules.

• Work with the ITIA Anti-Doping Team in order to assist in the identification of potential anti-doping rule violations.

• Work with the ITIA Education team in order to assist in delivery of education messaging and input into the content development of educational resources.

• Work with the ITIA Intelligence team in order to ensure the organisation identifies and addresses emerging risks. Collaborate on the download and analysis of digital devices.

• Liaison with tennis stakeholders and statutory agencies, including international law enforcement.

You will have:

• Relevant and recent experience conducting investigations within a sports governing body (desirable), civil or criminal regulatory framework

• Investigative interviewing experience

• Ability to produce concise evidential reports

• Ability to work on multiple investigations concurrently

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• High level of self-motivation

• The ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality

• Understanding of the principles and responsibilities of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR);

• Ability to engage professionally with a wide range of audiences and witnesses and to adapt communication styles accordingly

• Fluent in English (Essential); other language(s) highly desirable

• Ability to perform well under pressure with good attention to detail

• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office

• Flexibility – hours can be long and include weekends, regular international travel may also be required, often at relatively short notice

Desirable:

• Language capability, the ability to speak other languages

• Mobile forensic analytical experience

• An interest in and working knowledge of tennis would be an advantage

• Co-operating with the ITIA and following instructions regarding health and safety matters.

• Reporting all hazards, illnesses or injuries to the Health and Safety responsible persons.

As part of your ongoing development, you may be required to undertake training in order to meet the requirements of your role.
