Oct 30, 2023
I am excited to announce that Imperial College London invites applications for one full-time permanent faculty member position at the Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant Professor) level, based both in the Statistics Section of the Math Department and the College’s Imperial-X (I-X) initiative. Imperial-X brings academia and industry together to tackle the world’s greatest challenges using machine learning, and throwing out the rule book for the university.
Imperial College London is a world-leading university whose reputation for excellence in research and teaching attracts students and staff of the highest international quality. Our three Faculties, Engineering, Natural Sciences and Medicine, together with the Imperial College Business School, explore the interface between science, medicine, engineering, and management.
We offer an attractive salary package (including a pension scheme with significant employer contributions) as well as generous terms and conditions of service. The post is a permanent position (comparable to tenured faculty positions). The post includes a substantial start-up package for establishing a research activity at I-X. Other benefits to our staff are subsidised childcare on campus, flexible and family-friendly working policies, opportunities for further professional development, periodic sabbaticals, and free healthcare through the National Health Service. We can provide support and advice on the dual-career needs of candidates and their partners.
