Hosted by Dominic Bowen, the podcast brings together expert guests from intelligence agencies, boardrooms, universities, and conflict zones to speak about the topics that matter.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Marketing, Media, & Content Intern to support the growth of our digital presence, particularly on YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Tik Tok and other platforms where ideas are shared. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a globally recognized podcast at the intersection of geopolitics, business strategy, and international security.
This role is ideal for someone pursuing a career in marketing, media, political science, international affairs, geopolitics, and communications. You will gain hands-on experience in digital storytelling, video editing, and content strategy, while helping shape the global risk conversation.
Responsibilities:
• Create full-length YouTube uploads with engaging intros, calls to action, and video branding.
• Edit and repurpose podcast interviews into short-form video content (30–90 seconds) for YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, and TikTok.
• Design visually compelling thumbnails, titles, and descriptions that drive engagement.
• Monitor performance metrics (views, retention, click-through rates) and identify content trends.
• Collaborate closely with the host and production team to prioritize strategic topics and clips.
• Research international news and trends to align content with timely global risks and events.
• Assist with scheduling, publishing, and engaging with online audiences across platforms.
Requirements:
• Strong interest in international affairs, global business, or strategic risk.
• Interest in learning how to edit and produce video content.
• Experience with social media platforms and understanding of what performs well across formats.
• Strong writing skills and attention to detail (headlines, captions, hooks).
• Self-starter mindset and able to manage your time, meet deadlines, and communicate proactively.
• Access to a computer.
