Partnership Success Manager – UK at The Intern Group. Location: London, England. Must have work authorization for this location.

The Intern Group believes in empowering individuals to realize their potential and shape international internships as a key component of academic journeys. We seek to grow our network of host companies across the UK and Ireland and to expand employer partnerships that connect talented students with meaningful opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Localized outreach and relationship building in the UK & Ireland, emphasizing in-person trust-based engagement through both cold and warm outreach.
  • Targeted business development to achieve monthly goals via LinkedIn, email, phone, events, and networking.
  • Build partnerships and referral schemes with key companies, associations, chambers of commerce, and expat communities to sustain a strong local network.
  • Key account management for ongoing relationships to retain and grow long-term partnerships in the region, including site visits and feedback sessions.
  • Lead the full internship placement process, matching students with host companies and managing the pipeline of applicants.
  • Conduct research, discovery calls, and tailored presentations to qualify leads, progress them through the pipeline, and onboard new partners.
  • Monitor placement rates, satisfaction, and outcomes to identify opportunities for process and program improvements.

Qualifications & Attributes

  • A confident communicator with proven experience in B2B business development, sales, or account management.
  • Results oriented with strong attention to detail and a track record of delivering results individually and as part of a team.
  • Excellent in-face networking and relationship-building across cultures and industries.
  • Fluent in English with strong commercial awareness and organizational skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit—motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a remote-first environment.
  • Work authorization to work in the UK; sponsorship not required.
