The role provides business support to a prestigious service provider at Directorate senior leadership team. The post holder will report to the Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) Deputy Directors. The post holder will be responsible and accountable for:
Supporting the team in the achievement of its objectives, planning, tasks and managing actions which arise from high level internal and external meetings.
Undertaking projects working on own initiative.
Providing accurate, timely and reliable information to the line manager, or Compliance and Standards, including written and verbal advice.
Leading the planning and management of all local committees/meetings within the directorate
Maintaining oversight of the directorates risks on the Trust’s board assurance framework (BAF), corporate risk register and local risk register and ensuring that these are regularly updated and that actions are progressed in line with required timescales.
Monitoring and taking action to address any delays across the teams remit to complete serious incident reports and actions, internal audit actions and reviewing/updating operational policies/standard operating procedures.
Assisting the line manager with the management of the budget.
Developing the business impact analysis document and other duties as necessary which are required to ensure business continuity arrangements are in place.
To analyse substantial and complex data and information in order to present a position and suggest future courses of action where mitigation or improvement is required.
To exercise sound judgement and ensure that key business items and decisions are identified, progressed, and followed up accordingly. This will include email, correspondence review and decision making about further action to be taken.
Represent the line manager at meetings as and when appropriate.
Any other duties which the IUC senior leadership team feel are appropriate to the role.
