Job Description
Are you passionate about hospitality and ready to lead in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? My client is a Sports Club and they are seeking a driven and experienced Bar Manager to take charge of the bar operations across matchdays and non-matchday events.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the fan experience and driving innovation in the bar services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of exceptional service across all bar areas within the Club.
- Oversee inventory, product delivery, and customer satisfaction, especially on matchdays.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Media teams to grow the brand.
- Recruit, train, and manage bar staff in partnership with HR.
- Identify and implement process improvements and innovative bar concepts.
- Report to the board on performance, successes, and areas for improvement.
- Build strong relationships with fans and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage budgets and ensure financial targets are met.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
- Proven background in bar or hospitality management.
- Experience in a professional sports environment is a strong advantage.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of bar operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- A track record of exceeding sales targets and managing large budgets.
- Proficiency in IT systems and reporting tools.
