IStructE is a charity and the professional body for structural engineers. We have a global membership that has designed many of the world's iconic structures, as well as many of the buildings and bridges we take almost for granted in our daily lives. Creating safer structures for the benefit of the public is at the heart of our remit, and this includes environmental sustainability, with structural engineers and the Institution at the heart of the impact construction has on natural resources and climate change.

Many of our members work to support the world's most vulnerable communities, especially those living in places prone to natural hazards such as earthquakes and extreme flooding.

The Role
The IT Operations Manager will oversee operational service delivery, supplier and MSP relationships, operational governance, security compliance and service improvement initiatives. You will play a key role in maintaining high levels of service for colleagues and members, while driving efficiencies, enhancing user experience and ensuring operational readiness across the organisation.
To be shortlisted for this post, you must have:
- Strong experience managing infrastructure, cloud, and network operations
- Experience managing suppliers and MSPs, including supplier governance, contract performance management, and operational assurance
- Experience improving operational processes and service quality
- Proven experience managing IT operations teams or coaching/mentoring IT support roles
- Experience owning or governing IT Disaster Recovery processes would be advantageous.
