IStructE is a charity and the professional body for structural engineers. We have a global membership who have designed many of the world’s iconic structures as well as many of the buildings and bridges we take almost for granted in our daily lives. Creating safer structures for the benefit of the public is at the heart of our remit, and this includes environmental sustainability, with structural engineers and the Institution at the heart of the impact construction has on natural resources and climate change. We are passionate about inclusion and work hard to help those with talent, irrespective of background, to find and develop a route into the profession. Many of our members work to support the world’s most vulnerable communities, especially those living in places prone to natural hazards such as earthquakes and extreme flooding.

The Role
As our Head of Technology and Solutions Delivery, you'll lead the delivery of the Institution's technology and digital transformation portfolio, ensuring projects are delivered to time, quality and budget. Working closely with stakeholders, suppliers and colleagues across the organisation, you'll drive delivery excellence, oversee governance and portfolio reporting, and help bring innovative solutions to life that support the Institution's mission and future ambitions.
To be shortlisted for this post, you must have:
- Proven experience delivering technology or digital transformation projects
- Strong understanding of project and programme delivery methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid)
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external suppliers, leading on procurement and managing supplier performance
- Experience producing portfolio-level reporting and dashboards
Experience in a charity, membership, or regulated environment would be advantageous.
