IStructE is a charity and the professional body for structural engineers. We have a global membership that has designed many of the world's iconic structures, as well as many of the buildings and bridges we take almost for granted in our daily lives. Creating safer structures for the benefit of the public is at the heart of our remit, and this includes environmental sustainability with structural engineers and the Institution at the heart of the impact construction has on natural resources and climate change.

Many of our members work to support the world's most vulnerable communities, especially those living in places prone to natural hazards such as earthquakes and extreme flooding.

The Role
As a Membership Qualifications Executive, you will play a key role in delivering the Institution's application, professional review and election processes. From supporting the Application & Professional Review Panel to managing certificates, registrations and membership applications across multiple routes, this role is perfect for someone who thrives on organisation, accuracy and meaningful interaction. You will work collaboratively across teams, produce insightful reports, liaise with external bodies, and even represent the Institution through presentations and visits.
To be shortlisted for this post, you must have:
- Knowledge of assessment procedures for professional membership bodies, and an understanding of academic qualifications relating to Further Education / Higher Education sectors
- Experience using CRM systems to ensure effective data maintenance
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work with professionally qualified volunteer Chairs/panel members and internal colleagues
Experience in a similar membership body would be advantageous.
