The Role We are looking for a Head of Membership Growth and Services to join us on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a newly created role, offering an exciting opportunity to shape and drive the future of our global membership strategy. As Head of Membership Growth and Services, you will oversee the full end-to-end membership journey, from outreach and acquisition through to retention and renewal. You will provide strategic direction and leadership to enhance the overall member experience, ensuring services are high-quality, data-informed, digitally enabled, and fully compliant with regulatory standards. You will also play a key role in shaping a long-term roadmap for membership growth and engagement, embedding member voice at the heart of service development and ensuring our offer evolves in line with member needs, organisational priorities, and sector trends. This role will be central to growing and strengthening our global membership community. Additionally, you will: – Build strong relationships with regulatory partners – Lead data and insight strategies to inform policy and product development – Align activities across functions to create a joined-up member experience – Lead on compliance, professional registration, and accreditation frameworks – Build a global volunteer network to support membership pathways Please note, this role will involve regular regional travel and some international travel. Person Specification To be considered as our Head of Membership Growth and Services, you will need: – Proven experience in a senior membership, engagement, or service leadership role – Proven leadership and team development skills in a global and remote environment – Experience managing and developing budgets over £2 million – Proven experience in a senior management role in compliance, data governance, and regulatory environments – Experience leading a sales delivery team in a customer-focused environment – Experience of cross-functional working and delivering strategic collaboration – Strong knowledge of CRM systems and customer journey optimisation Salary and Benefits – Salary of circa £73,000 per annum – Car allowance of £6,955 per annum – Hybrid working (minimum requirement of 2 days per week in the office) – Training and development – Work/life balance, including a minimum of 28 days’ holiday per annum plus Bank Holidays – Benefits, including stakeholder pension scheme, life assurance, and private health cover – Other benefits as detailed in our generous and competitive benefits package This is an unmissable opportunity for a visionary leader with experience in a senior membership, engagement, or service leadership role to join our world-respected organisation.
