Permanent / Full Time Stevenage with Hybrid Working

What you’ll be doing:

  • As our Professional Registration Operations Manager, you’ll lead the delivery and continuous improvement of our Professional Registration and Fellowship operations, ensuring a high-quality, efficient, and consistent experience for members, applicants and volunteers.
  • You’ll oversee the full operational landscape, from registration engagement through to compliance and assurance, making sure processes are robust, scalable and aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • A key part of the role will be using data and insight to monitor performance, identify areas for improvement and drive informed decision-making.
  • Whether it’s improving turnaround times, enhancing quality or optimising processes, you’ll play a central role in shaping how we deliver operational excellence.
  • You’ll be confident engaging with volunteers as peers, building trust and influencing effectively.
  • You’ll be comfortable working with data, identifying opportunities for automation, and implementing practical, scalable solutions.
  • You’ll be confident working across all levels of the IET, as well as with external bodies and partners, balancing different priorities while maintaining a clear focus on quality and outcomes.
  • Please note, this role is known internally as Operations Manager – Registration and Fellowship.
  • Manage Registration Engagement and professional compliance activities.
  • Oversee operational planning, budgets, and performance against KPIs and SLAs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, assurance, and professional standards.
  • Use data and insight to monitor performance and inform decision-making.
  • Ability to use data and insight to drive decisions and improvements.
  • Good understanding of compliance, assurance and regulatory requirements.
