The Residential Conveyancing Legal Secretary will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the conveyancing team. The position involves delivering high-quality administrative and secretarial support to fee earners while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy, client service and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to conveyancing solicitors and fee earners
- Assisting with the management, organisation and maintenance of client files and documentation
- Liaising professionally with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other key parties
- Handling incoming calls, emails and general correspondence efficiently
- Drafting and preparing letters, forms and other legal documentation
- Requesting and managing electronic searches (pre- and post-completion)
- Demonstrating familiarity with SDLT and LTT submissions
- Working confidently within a comprehensive compliance and regulatory framework
