We're seeking an experienced Care Secretary to join a friendly, inclusive legal team in Leeds that genuinely values work-life balance and client care. Responsibilities
- Preparing documents including court bundles, emails and correspondence
- Drafting and submitting legal aid applications
- Opening and managing case files on the case management system
- Handling telephone and email enquiries with professionalism and warmth
- Liaising with clients and professionals to arrange appointments and meetings
- Managing incoming post and digital dictation (BigHand)
- Keeping case management records up to date and ensuring accurate time recording for billing
- Providing cover and support for colleagues when needed

- Prior experience working within a care law department or similar legal environment
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
- Excellent communication and telephone manner
- Good typing speed and familiarity with digital dictation tools
