Sue Ross Legal are working on behalf of our client, a highly respected law firm, to recruit a Family Secretary for a permanent, full-time position. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and supportive legal practice with offices in Retford and Worksop.
The successful candidate will provide a combination of front-of-house reception support and family legal secretarial assistance, ensuring a smooth and professional service to clients and colleagues alike.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a professional and welcoming reception service, greeting clients and visitors in person and over the phone.
- Offer administrative and secretarial support to the Family Law team, including audio typing, document preparation, and file management.
- Assist with diary management, client correspondence, and case documentation.
- Maintain a well-presented reception area and ensure all client enquiries are handled efficiently and courteously.
- Work across both Retford and Worksop offices (with one day per week based in Worksop).
- Balance reception duties with secretarial responsibilities, adapting to the needs of the team.
- Previous experience in a legal or professional office environment (family law experience advantageous).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Confident and professional when dealing with clients and colleagues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
- Able to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Flexible and willing to travel between Retford and Worksop offices.
