A Law firm based in East London seeks an experienced Conveyancing Legal Assistant/Secretary to join them on a full-time permanent basis. This well-regarded, family-run law firm is seeking a highly detail-focused individual with a strong work ethic who is eager to contribute to a close-knit and collaborative team. This role will be 5 days in office, working 9-5. Please note this role is not suitable for a paralegal or those wishing to pursue a fee earning career.
This role will support their Senior Partner with:
- Supporting throughout the post-completion processes
- Assisting with AML checks
- Maintaining SRA compliance records
- Preparing invoices and client statements
- Assisting with standard conveyancing forms
- Carrying out Land Registry applications
- Completing SDLT returns
- Working on basic contracts
- Printing, photocopying, scanning, filing paperwork
- Preparing engrossment
- File management
- General office and legal administration
