Location: Castell Coch and Caerphilly Castle
Cadw is seeking to appoint to Collections and Castle Manager. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic professional to lead the conservation and care of Castell Coch’s exceptional interiors and collections, while overseeing visitor operations across Castell Coch and Caerphilly Castle. Working with site teams, volunteers and specialist colleagues, you will play a key role in protecting and bringing these historic places to life for visitors.
This role will require travel to Welsh Government offices or other sites in other parts of Wales to attend meetings.
Some site duty management weekend working may be required for which time off in lieu is given.
Requirements
- A relevant undergraduate degree in a field such as Museum Studies, Conservation, History of Art or Archaeology or equivalent sector experience.
Salary
Starting salary will be at the minimum of the pay scale.
