Overview
Brecon Beacons National Park Authority invites applications for the role of Senior Heritage Officer (Building Conservation). This full-time, permanent position is based in Brecon, Powys, with hybrid working arrangements.
Salary: £39,862 – £42,839 (Grade 10). Hours: 37 hours per week.
Location: Brecon, Powys, LD3 7HP / hybrid working.
Responsibilities
- Work within the Heritage Team on all aspects of the historic environment, including processing pre-application enquiries, Listed Building Consent applications, and Conservation Area Consent applications.
- Provide advice on heritage-related planning applications and support the Heritage Environment Partnership and action plan.
- Support the overall management of the Historic Environment in the National Park.
Qualifications
- A degree in a building conservation related field.
- Previous relevant experience related to listed buildings and the historic environment.
- Full membership of the IHBC is desirable.
