This is a remarkable opportunity to play a key role in the commercial growth of the Institute of Art and Ideas (IAI). The successful candidate will work across paid marketing campaigns for both iai.tv, the home of ground-breaking ideas in philosophy, science, politics and the arts, and HowTheLightGetsIn, the world’s largest festival of philosophy and music. Together, these initiatives challenge conventional thinking, inspire curiosity, and foster a community of intellectual engagement that stretches around the world.

We are hiring for a Performance Marketing Executive with a passion for digital marketing, an eye for crafting snappy creatives, and a knack for data-driven decision making. In this role, you will create, execute, and optimise performance marketing campaigns designed to boost ticket and subscriptions sales and expand our audience.

Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Management: Develop and implement paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media channels to meet specific KPIs.
  • Analytics & Optimization: Monitor campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and similar platforms; analyze data to provide actionable insights and ensure ROI.
  • Creative Collaboration: Develop snappy and engaging ad creatives, as well as working with designers and video editors to develop flagship campaign assets.
  • A/B Testing: Conduct experiments on ad copy, landing pages, and creatives to identify the most effective strategies.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and digital marketing innovations to keep campaigns fresh and effective.
  • Event Marketing: Develop targeted campaigns to promote HowTheLightGetsIn events, drive ticket sales, and enhance brand awareness.

Requirements:

  • Education: A 2:1 degree or higher in any relevant subject from a top university.
  • Experience: Ideally some hands-on experience in digital marketing or performance marketing roles, though less experienced candidates with the right skills and interests will be considered.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to analyse data and derive insights to optimise campaign performance.
  • Creative Skills: Comfortable crafting ad copy, mocking up a v1 design, and working with design teams to develop compelling visuals.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
