Position Summary

The role of Manager, Talent Acquisition is a strategic and critical role in shaping the future of our workforce and supporting the staffing needs of our locations. This role requires a seasoned senior level recruitment professional with a keen eye for top talent and a strategic mindset to manage both internal and external hiring processes. This role will be instrumental in attracting, engaging, onboarding and retaining high-caliber individuals who align with our company\’s values and mission.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Sourcing and Candidate Management:
β€’ Drive innovative sourcing strategies to attract diverse and high-quality candidates.
β€’ Oversee full-cycle recruitment including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and offer management.

Stakeholder Engagement:
β€’ Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing requirements and provide expert guidance throughout the recruitment process.
β€’ Act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers on talent market trends and best practices

Recruitment:
β€’ Source, screen, and interview candidates for various roles, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience.
β€’ Utilize various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals.
β€’ Maintain and manage a robust talent pipeline for current and future staffing needs.
β€’ Coordinate and conduct interviews, providing feedback and recommendations to hiring managers.
β€’ Mentor a team of professionals to hiring best practices, including hiring managers and human resources professionals.
β€’ Manage the candidate experience and quality of interview process.

Process Improvement:
β€’ Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
β€’ Master the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) as an admin of the system. SAP system experience an asset.

External Staffing & Vendor Management
β€’ Source and engage qualified professionals to meet the specific requirements of our internal stakeholders.
β€’ Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on all recruitment-related matters.
β€’ Manage vendor relationships, service levels and decision-making on when to engage approved staffing agencies.

Onboarding
β€’ Support the implementation of structured onboarding programs to integrate new hires.
β€’ Assure all pre-employment checks, paperwork, and equipment are prepared.
β€’ Work closely and collaboratively with human resource professionals to ensure a successful and seamless beginning of service experience.

Strategic Initiatives:
β€’ Lead and participate in various talent acquisition projects and initiatives aimed at improving recruitment processes and outcomes.
β€’ Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure we remain competitive in the talent market.
β€’ Analyze recruitment metrics and provide regular reports to senior leadership on the effectiveness of talent acquisition efforts.

Required Qualifications

β€’ Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field desired.
β€’ Minimum of 8+ years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably within the manufacturing, engineering or operations sector.
β€’ 5+ years in a more senior capacity, overseeing full-cycle recruitment.
β€’ Proven track record of successfully overseeing and managing end-to-end recruitment processes for front-line, technical and professional roles.
β€’ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and clients.
β€’ Proficiency in using recruitment software and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and SAP.
β€’ Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
β€’ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
β€’ Fluency in French and English, both written and verbal.
