The Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION) is the UK’s longest established and most respected higher education institution and thought-leader in nutritional therapy and lifestyle sciences. This is an exciting time at the Institute as we look to grow and launch new programmes & awards. We are looking for a qualified, proactive marketing professional to coordinate and develop our marketing activities.
Working within our communications team, you will create and deliver engaging content across multiple channels, manage social media activity, run advertising campaigns, and help optimise our website and CRM systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone early in their marketing career or an experienced professional seeking to broaden their skills across diverse communications channels.
You’ll need a keen interest in health and nutrition, strong creative instincts, and the versatility to move seamlessly from developing an advertising campaign to producing a promotional email or reporting on CRM performance.
You will come with:
- An ability to work at pace and demonstrate initiative
- An understanding of/interest in nutritional therapy or nutrition and wellbeing
- A sense of fun with a strong professional ethic and the ability to get things done
- Copywriting skills and ability to repurpose content for SEO, websites and social media
- Understanding of how to optimise the UX/UI of websites
- Understanding of marketing best practice
- An attention to detail and ability to proof content on-screen
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent individual and group communication skills
- Initiative and the ability to work as part of a team and to lead on projects when required
- A good eye for design
- Knowledge of ASA guidelines
- Knowledge of media law
- The ability to work onsite at our office in Richmond as and when required
