We have been embarking on a new chapter where we are building out a game changing marketplace that will unite the currently disparate players in the workplace industry. We are not just delivering a single product; but a product led, innovation and data centric digital business that will be the dominant brand people use to find where and how they can work smarter, globally. With significant investment into the business, and with commercial real estate being one of the last major markets yet to be disrupted, we are uniquely positioned to lead the charge.
Armed with experienced senior leaders who have navigated similar journeys in B2B SaaS, marketplaces, and fast paced retail, we offer a rare opportunity to join a core team at the time of launching something special. We cater to the needs of all market participants with consumer-style websites and apps, integrating providers of workspaces from around the world, building platforms for employees to find the best places to work regardless of who manages them, and creating algorithms that unlock industry insights. Our strategy is clear, our leadership is empowering, and our core team has deep experience in commercial tech product and engineering. We prioritise value creation through engineering by employing the best current practices.
We are a recently formed tech team, that has been built from the ground up since the second half of 2023. We have been focused on creating our first products that are launching in Q4 2024 and scaling out to the team needed to accelerate our products. The next phase is to mature the products and our team and practises. We value cross functional collaboration and working as one team to meet our company goals, this includes both between the engineering teams, and with other disciplines including product and design. We encourage empowerment and ownership within our teams and decisions being made by the domain experts. We operate a “you build it you run it” policy within our software engineering teams, so each team is responsible for creating and operating the infrastructure that they use in their technical services. This does come with some guide rails, which is where platform engineering comes in, to provide both code in terms of things like terraform modules and guidelines and expertise on best practises.
