The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality outcomes through managing competing priorities and contributing to continuous improvement. The role will provide specific support to the agency in analysing and investigating cryptoassets and related technologies such as Decentralised Finance ("Defi"). This role will be at the heart of cryptoasset Intelligence collection, development and dissemination within the agency.
Responsibilities:
- Develop specialist knowledge and play a critical role in supporting projects, policy development and ensuring effective service delivery using technical expertise.
- Support the development of agency policy on cryptoassets and relevant technologies regarding their investigation, seizure, secure storage, forfeiture and realisation.
- Collaborate with our intelligence analysts to support the development of our first agency wide crypto threat assessment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the agency in relation to cryptoassets, decentralised finance and related technologies.
- Maintain, update, and quality check investigation logs, intelligence records, and task trackers on designated intelligence and case management systems.
