Are you a client-focused Insolvency Practitioner looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a dedicated professional to support our Lead Insolvency Practitioner and help develop our growing team.
Ideally, you will be based in either Bristol or Bath.

Key Responsibilities

As an Insolvency Practitioner (IP), you will advise individuals and businesses facing financial distress, ensuring compliance with UK insolvency laws and working towards the best outcomes for stakeholders.

  • Assess financial situations and provide insolvency advice.
  • Administer insolvency processes (CVAs, CVLs, administration, IVAs, bankruptcies).
  • Negotiate with creditors and manage fund distributions.
  • Ensure compliance with UK insolvency regulations.
  • Investigate director conduct and identify wrongful trading.
  • Mentor junior team members and support their development.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

We’re looking for someone with the technical expertise, leadership potential and commercial acumen to make an impact.

  • Qualified JIEB and licensed by a recognised Insolvency Licensing Body.
  • At least five years’ experience in insolvency or financial restructuring.
  • Strong financial and legal knowledge in insolvency matters.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proactive, organised, and detail conscious.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexibly to meet client needs.
