We’re looking for an experienced and highly commercial Stock Manager to take ownership of our global inventory across Gymshark. In this role, you’ll lead the end‑to‑end accounting, control and operational management of stock, ensuring accuracy, strong governance and clear visibility across the business. You’ll play a pivotal role in managing stock valuation, leading a high‑performing team, and partnering with key stakeholders across Finance, Sourcing and Operations to drive insight, control and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Own the group’s inventory position end‑to‑end, ensuring stock is accurately valued, controlled and reported across all entities.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of five, setting clear priorities and building capability across the function.
  • Oversee the monthly stock reconciliation and valuation process, including landed cost allocation, standard costing, freight and duty matrices, FX impacts and GIT/GINR balances.
  • Manage the stock AP process, ensuring accurate and timely invoice posting, successful three‑way matching, and resolution of supplier queries.
  • Govern intercompany stock flows, ensuring transfer pricing is correctly applied and reconciled within the ERP system.
  • Partner with third‑party logistics providers to ensure purchase order visibility and accurate inbound receipting, resolving root‑cause issues where required.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Finance, FP&A and Sourcing on landed gross margin, stock costing analysis and cost drivers, providing clear insight and commentary.
  • Strengthen the stock control environment, owning balance sheet reconciliations and acting as the key contact for audit and stock-related queries.
  • Drive continuous improvement across stock accounting and stock AP processes, identifying automation and system enhancements.
  • Deputise for the Transactional Finance Senior Manager on stock matters and support cross‑functional projects relating to stock, sourcing and ERP change.

What You’ll Need:

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Fully qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent).
  • Strong technical understanding of stock accounting, including landed cost, standard costing and inventory valuation.
  • Proven people management experience with a track record of developing and leading teams.
  • Experience leading month‑end stock close and balance sheet reconciliations in a multi‑entity environment.
  • Confident partnering with senior stakeholders across Finance, Sourcing and Operations.
  • Strong Excel skills with the ability to handle large volumes of data.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in a similar Stock / Inventory Manager role within retail, e‑commerce or consumer goods.
  • Experience managing both stock accounting and stock AP / purchasing teams.
  • Exposure to third‑party logistics partners and multi‑warehouse inventory environments.
  • SAP experience.
  • Experience driving process improvements or leading ERP/system change initiatives.

This is a hybrid role and requires the successful candidate to attend at least 3 days a week in GSIQ, Solihull, UK.
