We are looking for a commercially driven, customer-obsessed Merchandising Manager to lead a divisional product category and drive global growth across channels. This role blends creativity with analytical excellence. You will own the end-to-end merchandising strategy β from long-range planning and seasonal line architecture to in-season trade decisions β ensuring the division delivers against brand vision, customer needs, and financial targets.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Product Strategy & Line Planning
- Own divisional product strategy and seasonal line plans aligned to brand and financial goals
- Lead assortment architecture, pricing strategy, and lifecycle planning
- Define hero and growth-driving product categories
- Partner with Design to shape range direction, innovation, and trend execution
- Trading & Performance
- Own divisional sales performance, identifying risks and opportunities
- Lead trade reviews and present insights to senior leadership
- Drive in-season actions across OTB, rebuy, inventory, size and channel optimisation
- Coach your team to confidently interpret data and make strategic decisions
- Go-To-Market & Customer Excellence
- Lead end-to-end GTM execution, ensuring impactful launches across digital and retail
- Shape eCommerce and in-store assortment strategy
- Champion deep customer, market and trend insights to inform future product direction
- Leadership
- Lead and develop a team of Merchandisers
- Build a culture of accountability, collaboration and commercial storytelling
- Partner cross-functionally across Planning, Supply Chain, Digital, Retail and Marketing
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Please note this is a hybrid role partially based in our New York City office. All candidates must be local or willing to relocate. You must also be authorized to work in the United States.
- Essential
- Strong experience leading and developing merchandising teams
- Proven ability to build and execute long-term merchandising strategies
- Advanced commercial and financial acumen
- Strong analytical capability with confidence using sales and inventory data
- Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills
- Experience managing multi-channel assortments (eCommerce, Retail, Wholesale)
- Significant experience in apparel Buying or Merchandising
