You'll Fit Right Inn As a Maintenance Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our facilities are safe, comfortable, and in excellent condition. Your responsibilities include daily checks on boilers, electrical systems, and fire safety equipment, along with inspecting and replacing light bulbs and securing fire doors. You'll conduct regular inspections of roofs, gutters, and walkways to address hazards and maintain outdoor areas, including gardening and external housekeeping. You'll handle planned maintenance tasks like painting and grouting, as well as unplanned repairs. Basic plumbing, electrical, and joinery skills are essential, along with a focus on compliance through ladder checks, fire alarm tests, and utility readings.
