As a Maintenance Manager, you will ensure our buildings and grounds provide a safe and exceptional experience for guests. Overseeing the daily operations of the maintenance team, you will plan workloads, delegate tasks, and provide the tools, training, and support your team needs to work safely and to a high standard. You'll be the first point of contact for emergency call-outs, manage seven-day maintenance coverage, and ensure all jobs are accurately recorded in our system while adhering to Health & Safety guidelines.
Your responsibilities include daily checks on boilers, electrical systems, fire safety equipment, and exterior areas such as roofs, gutters, and walkways to identify and address hazards. You'll oversee planned maintenance projects like painting and grouting, respond to unplanned repairs, and maintain external areas, including gardens and outdoor spaces. Additionally, you'll liaise with contractors, manage maintenance tools and stock, and ensure all supplies are replenished to maintain seamless operations.
To excel in this role, you'll bring experience in the construction trade, an NVQ or equivalent qualification, and a strong understanding of Health & Safety compliance. Leadership skills and a flexible, can-do attitude are essential, enabling you to guide your team, tackle challenges, and uphold the highest standards across all areas of maintenance.
