As Sous Chef at The Swallow Falls Inn, you’ll be at the heart of our kitchen, ensuring every dish showcases the best of fresh, quality ingredients and reflects our high standards. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef, managing a talented team, contributing to menu development and costing, and maintaining consistent excellence across all areas of the kitchen.

  • Manage kitchen staff and lead them in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environments.
  • Develop and maintain the menu, ensuring quality, consistency, and profitability.
  • Control inventory, order from nominated suppliers, and manage stock levels.
  • Oversee kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Take charge of the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Foster seamless collaboration across kitchen, front‑of‑house, and management teams.
