Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to meet high standards of cleanliness.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish toiletries as needed.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
- Vacuum carpets and mop floors to ensure cleanliness throughout the premises.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Uphold health and safety standards by using cleaning products appropriately and following established protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly and efficient manner.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential.
- A strong understanding of cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning equipment is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in order to meet deadlines.
