About the role

We\'re looking for a commercially minded Senior Procurement Manager to lead the strategic management of our supplier base across direct and indirect procurement, with a personal category management focus.

In this role, you\'llwork closely with teams across Operations, Supply Chain, Product Development, Quality and Finance to build strong supplier partnerships, manage commercial and supply risks, andidentifyopportunities to improve cost, efficiencyand performance.

You'llalso lead and develop a Procurement Manager, helping to build a proactive, collaborative procurement function that supports the continued growth of The INKEY List.

  • What you\'ll be doing
  • Lead the commercial management of our third-party manufacturing and warehousing partners, building trusted relationships that support long-term success.
  • Negotiate supplier agreements and commercial terms, balancing cost, quality, service and supply continuity.
  • Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce waste and deliver sustainable cost savings while maintaining product quality.
  • Develop greater transparency of manufacturing costs, using data and insight to support informed commercial decisions.
  • Build strong supplier performance frameworks, leading regular business reviews and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure Procurement is involved early in product development, providing commercial insight on supplier capability, lead times, minimum order quantities, costs and risk.
  • Monitor supplier performance, market trends and commercial risks, providing recommendations and escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Champion procurement best practice across the business, including contract management, purchase-to-pay compliance and supplier onboarding.

  • What we\'re looking for

You\'ll likely have

  • Significant procurement or strategic sourcing experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing third-party manufacturing partners and supplier relationships.
  • A strong understanding of manufacturing operations, including raw materials, packaging, supplier capability and operational efficiencies.
  • Proven experience negotiating supplier agreements and managing commercial performance, costs and supply risks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence and collaborate across multiple functions.
  • Experience leading or developing others, with a collaborative and supportive leadership style.
  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience within beauty, cosmetics, personal care, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals or another regulated manufacturing sector would be advantageous.
