Beauty Regulatory Manager

The INKEY List, a trailblazing force in the beauty industry has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Regulatory Manager.

Contract Type – Permanent, Full Time

Reports to – Head of Product

Start Date – ASAP

Location: Hybrid – you must be able to work in either our Nottingham or London office as a minimum of two days per week.

What you'll do:

NPD/Development

Responsible for completion of all clinical testing for NPD/ B&A (clinical/consumer/acne-analyzer)/scope new innovative testing options/ support brand with any EPD claims optimization.

Patch Testing/ Hydration Testing (support on consumer testing where possible)

NPD/ claim development

Sets, Supersize, Samples, EPD – compliance driven updates to existing packs (e.g. Mocra address updates)/ PIFs/CPSRs

Copy checks and toolkits/ Social queries

Science Development

Working cross functionally and with external partners to complete Claims development/ science and ingredient knowledge/ white papers etc.

Global Regs

Responsible for keeping on top of and monitoring updates to the global regulatory landscape and review portfolio for compliance, impact and risks (e.g. new retinol restrictions/Mocra/ Prop 65/ California right to know act).

Must have knowledge of US OTC drug, DIN, NHP registrations/ Canada cosmetic compliance with Sephora/Ecomondo/ non-cosmetic regs (e.g. accessories/merch etc.)/ new regulatory implementation.

Completion of Cosmetic market access (e.g. Sephora brand portal in ME, SEA and Dermanordic) + notifications UK CPNP/ EU CPNP.

General

AskINKEY queries; Assisting AskINKEY with product queries about ingredients and additional product information. Help with complaints and issues, such as reactions or ingredient concerns. Helping train the AskINKEY team on new products

Skills & Expertise:

Cosmetic science background at degree level is essential

Strong understanding of Cosmetic regulations

Strong Knowledge of FDA, UK, EU Guidelines.

Technical understanding of Labelling requirements

Ability to build Clinical & Consumer testing questionnaires

Able to advise on global claims
