Position Overview:

Job Summary

An opportunity to join a growing, fast-paced business spreading the knowledge of Beauty around the world! The National Account Executive will work within the EMEA Sales team to manage and support our key retail accounts across bricks and mortar and ecommerce, driving sales within the UK. The primary focus will be responsibility for managing the day-to-day tasks and growth of a number of key accounts, with a secondary focus on supporting administrative and data processing tasks.

Reporting into the National Account Manager, this role would also work cross functionally with our Operations, Brand, Finance and Product teams to ensure all aspects of the sales accounts are managed to a high level.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Sales management and first point of contact for selected retail partners for The INKEY List in the UK.
  • Full preparation and accountability for implementing account plans to ensure accounts achieve (overachieve!) sales targets, ensuring INKEY Is front of mind for our retailers for all available opportunities.
  • Supporting the National Account Manager in the day to day running of accounts, ensuring all retailer deadlines are met – such as new line setup and promotions.
  • Working closely with Trade Marketing, prepare, manage, implement JBPs driving key brand moments, new products (NPD), achieving incremental brand space and support at all key points to maximise account sell through.
  • Present and sell in NPD to key accounts securing launch space and key brand support.
  • Responsibility for accurate product stock forecasting for accounts, working closely with the Senior Demand Planner and Operations team to manage any over or under stocks and required timings for launches and key retailer moments.
  • Work closely with Operations & EMEA Sales Admin Assistant to ensure all POs for your key accounts are dispatched in timely manner, maintaining agreed lead times and incoterms.
  • Collate and review weekly/monthly retailer sales out data, reporting back key commentary and findings to the wider business.
  • When required, support team managing retail partner portals to input orders, submit new products and extract data for sales reporting.
  • Provide ad hoc key account support to the EMEA sales team.

Key skills and experience:

  • Experience working with key retailers such as Boots and Sephora is desirable.
  • Proficient in Office applications Including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical ability and excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent, enthusiastic communication and negotiating skills are essential. You will need to be confident working with all levels of management, and able to lead retailer conversations – across email, video call and face to face
