Job Overview: The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and acquiring new clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, a passion for delivering results, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage prospective clients through research, networking, and outreach.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales pitches tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Accurately forecast sales and maintain up-to-date CRM records.
  • Track and report on sales performance, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
  • Build relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to grow new business opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing and technology departments to execute sales strategy, as we introduce enhancements to existing solutions and/or release new products.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales and revenue targets through proactive effort.

The Person:

  • Proven success in a sales or business development role (minimum 2-3 years).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Results-driven with a track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivated, highly organised, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow within the role.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Achievement of individual sales and revenue targets.
  • Retention and growth of client accounts.
  • Volume and quality of new business opportunities generated.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of CRM updates and sales reporting.

Base Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 OTE: £90-100,000, commission uncapped
