Exciting opportunity for an IT whizz to join a fast paced, fun and sociable design agency! You will be key in providing crucial support to all team members when it comes to all things IT, laptops and technical issues they might have! You will ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and resolve technical issues, support daily IT operations, and maintain a seamless user experience for the whole agency.
4 days in the London office £30k-£35k (some flex) Great agency culture and benefits! Full time, permanent contract.
The role:
- User Support & Troubleshooting: Provide initial IT support for hardware/software issues, installations, and troubleshooting, escalating complex problems when needed.
- Advanced Support: Assist with network troubleshooting, server monitoring, and software deployment.
- IT Infrastructure Support: Help maintain servers, cloud services, network infrastructure, and Active Directory services.
- Security & Compliance: Assist with implementing security protocols and supporting GDPR compliance.
- Backup & Recovery: Help with regular data backups and support disaster recovery efforts.
- Software & Hardware Management: Manage software and hardware, including inventory management and replacements.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of support incidents, system changes, and provide regular updates.
- Training & Development: Continuously develop IT knowledge and assist in training users to improve IT literacy.
The person:
- Ideally experience in working in a creative agency.
- Knowledge of Windows Server, M365, GSuite, network troubleshooting, and software/hardware issues.
- Previous experience in an IT support role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Basic understanding of GDPR and IT security best practices.
