Job Description:

Newly created opportunity for an award-winning global integrated marketing agency. They partner with their clients to strategically enhance their branding, digital transformation, tech & creative. You will partner closely with the group Financial Controller, responsible for preparing and consolidating the financial accounts for the UK office. They are a fast-growing business, so there will be plenty of room for career progression. Hybrid working – 3 days in the London office. Great benefits! £65k-£75k.

The role includes:

1. Group consolidation reporting
2. Intercompany reconciliations and reporting on group subsidiaries
3. Conversion of foreign currency
4. Review the balance sheet and solve any issues
5. Own the whole audit process, working with external auditors
6. Ensure group reporting is aligned and compliant with UK GAAP
7. Ensure the year-end accounts are compliant
8. Review and prepare the statutory accounts
9. Tax returns
10. Acquisition accounting when necessary
11. Any additional ad hoc reporting projects

The person:

• Ideally ACA qualified from an audit practice (media clients a bonus)
• PQE experience
• Strong technical accounting experience
• Strong Excel skills & systems and process savvy
• Used to working within deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
