Fantastic role for an established Finance Manager or experienced Management Accountant looking to step up. As well as ensuring the agency’s accounts are top-notch and accurate, you will also have the opportunity to support with wider commercial business decisions. This is not a ‘desk job’ as you will need to be visible in the agency, building relationships with client services and project management teams etc. You will collaborate with them to ensure your reports are useful, practical and accurate to ensure the success and growth of the agency. They will rely on you to provide financial reports to support them in their departments and would really welcome clear and concise communication that makes sense to their non-finance brains.

Permanent role

The role:

  • Monthly management accounts accompanied with detailed analysis and commentary
  • Be on top of the balance sheet and cash flow
  • Revenue recs and oversee the WIP ledger
  • Support non-finance departments with any invoicing/time sheet tracking
  • Chargeability and utilisation reporting and provide detailed analysis and recommendations
  • Support client services with financial process and upskill them in software’s if required
  • Support clients with budgeting, invoicing and payment schedules
  • Support more junior members of the finance team if they have any questions etc
  • Review ongoing creative projects and ensure they are on time and to budget
  • Support with year-end close and audit
  • Ad hoc reporting as required

The person:

  • Either fully qualified or studying (study support can be provided)
  • Must have experience from a creatively focused agency
  • Confident Excel user
  • Able to work autonomously
  • Detail orientated
  • Experience with European accounting helpful
  • Approachable and on-hand to answer any finance related questions
