We’re working with a high-profile consumer brand looking for a Senior Creative Brand Manager to lead brand and packaging design across a large, complex portfolio. This is a senior role for someone who can set creative direction, shape brand and packaging design strategy, and act as a strong brand guardian across multiple customer touchpoints.

You’ll be leading complex, high-profile design projects, working closely with senior stakeholders and external creative partners to ensure the brand shows up with consistency, distinctiveness and commercial impact. The role will suit someone with strong experience in brand and packaging design management, ideally from a consumer brand, retail, FMCG, lifestyle or product-led environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting creative direction across brand and packaging design
  • Leading high-profile packaging, campaign and brand design projects
  • Acting as a senior brand guardian across multiple customer touchpoints
  • Managing external design agencies, freelancers and creative partners
  • Shaping and evolving brand guidelines and governance
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders across brand, marketing, commercial and insight
  • Using customer, cultural and commercial insight to inform creative decisions
  • Tracking and communicating the impact of design on brand and business performance

Significant experience in senior brand and packaging design management is required, along with strong creative judgement and a high bar for craft. Experience delivering complex design projects at scale, strong agency briefing and management skills, and confidence influencing and challenging senior stakeholders are essential.

A good understanding of brand governance and design systems, a commercial mindset, and an interest in design effectiveness are also important. Experience in a consumer brand, retail, FMCG, lifestyle or product-led environment would be useful.

This is not a pure project management role. It needs someone who can bring creative taste, strategic judgement and commercial awareness, while managing the complexity of a large brand with a high volume of customer-facing design work.

Salary/package: £50-60K pro-rata to 5-6M contract
