An opportunity for an established Business Director to join the team on a 12 month FTC, leading a global automotive account. As their lead global social media agency, this role sits at the heart of the global social remit, overseeing seven core social channels including Instagram, YouTube and TikTok. It is a truly always on account at scale, delivering daily content across markets, alongside major campaign moments throughout the year.
The Business Director will take ownership of the overall health, performance and growth of the account. They will act as senior client partner to some of the most senior stakeholders across the client’s social ecosystem, managing high expectations with confidence, diplomacy and cultural sensitivity across international markets. This is a social native, always on leadership role at a small agency so it requires someone who is happy to remain hands on and roll their sleeves up.
The account delivers high volumes of content daily, including original creative, repurposed assets, UGC, CGI, motion graphics and shoot led work. The always on calendar must run seamlessly while building trust to deliver bigger, more ambitious campaign moments.
WHAT YOU WILL DO?- Lead the global always on social remit across seven core channels, ensuring strategic clarity, creative excellence and flawless delivery.
- Oversee the effective management of a high volume content calendar, ensuring daily output remains best in class.
- Act as senior partner to key client stakeholders, navigating cultural nuances and maintaining trusted, long term relationships.
- Ensure the team is running at its best, supporting and developing an Account Director, Account Manager and Junior Account Manager.
- Take responsibility for the financial performance of the account, including forecasting, scope management and profitability.
- Identify opportunities to elevate the always on output, continually raising the bar creatively and strategically.
- Lead selected campaign projects directly, while collaborating closely with other senior leads on larger originated campaigns.
- Work closely with strategy, creative, production and data teams to ensure integrated, insight driven delivery.
- Support future growth across the account, layering in new initiatives, partnerships and channel expansion.
- An established Business Director experienced in leading large scale, always on social programmes.
- Comfortable operating at senior client level with high expectations and complex international stakeholders.
- Commercially astute, with experience managing substantial account scopes and P&L responsibility.
- A natural leader who genuinely cares about their team, their client and the quality of the creative output.

- Happy to be hands on when required, particularly within social and content led environments.

This is a critical hire for the business, covering senior leadership capacity across the account. The contract runs for 12 months initially, with a view to potential permanence thereafter. Salary range £85,000 to £90,000 depending on experience. Immediate availability preferred but open to a notice period.
