A growing independent comms agency within a global network is looking for an Account Director to join its Brand Marketing team.

Looking for someone with a strong B2B agency background who combines excellent client leadership with a genuine expertise in social, digital and integrated marketing.

The successful candidate will work across a varied portfolio of clients across FS, tech and professional services clients helping to solve complex marketing challenges through brand, content, digital and social.

The Account Director will

  • Lead integrated marketing projects from brief through to delivery across brand, content, social and digital.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Work closely with creative, strategy and design teams to deliver high-quality integrated campaigns.
  • Develop and oversee social strategies, content programmes and paid social campaigns.
  • Manage project finances, scopes of work, timelines and resources.
  • Contribute to new business pitches, proposals and strategic thinking.
  • Present campaign performance, insights and recommendations with confidence.
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships.

The successful candidate will have

  • Previous Account Director experience, or be an exceptional Senior Account Manager ready to step up.
  • Strong B2B experience (essential)
  • Experience working with financial services, fintech or professional services clients.
  • A strong understanding of social media, digital marketing and integrated campaign delivery.
  • Experience managing both organic and paid social campaigns.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and scopes of work.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the confidence to challenge clients where appropriate.
