Chutney Mary has been cooking regional Indian cuisine, from Goa and Kolkata to Mumbai and Peshawar, since the 1990s. This makes it a true pioneer not just in Indian food in London, but in the city’s restaurant culture as a whole. The restaurant offers supple, luxurious, and generous hospitality, allied to a deep understanding of not just India's cuisines, but of what different diners — from day to day and decade to decade — want when experiencing them.

We are looking for a hard working Kitchen Porter to work full-time, daytime, evenings and weekends. 32-35 hours per week. We provide full on the job training for the right candidate, although knowledge of kitchen hygiene, food safety and cleanliness standards is an advantage.

Requirements of the role of Kitchen Porter:

  • Positive attitude/team player
  • Attentive and proactive
  • Minimum basic English knowledge
  • Be able to move heavy objects, for example, to remove a tray filled with dishes from the food lift, to organise food deliveries and waste.

You will need to be resident in the UK and have the right immigration documents.
