About you
This is a hands-on role delivering the day-to-day people agenda. You will have a wide-ranging patch including teams at Independent Media and Evening Standard Print.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast moving operational culture, doesn't get phased by rapid change and is pro-active in seeking solutions.
You should be used to working in a digital media environment and are naturally collaborative with excellent mediation and communication skills.
You will bring a wide range of experience in case-management, restructures and project work and enjoy being part of a small supportive team.
Essential skills and experience
- Well-rounded generalist with strong UK employment law knowledge.
- Experience of dealing with complex cases and restructures.
- Experience of project management.
- Proven recruitment experience and knowledge of best practice.
- You have experience of providing business focused advice to team members and managers.
Strong communicator can explain complex matters in a straightforward way, whether in person or in writing.
- You have effective data analysis and Excel skills and are proficient in Word and Power Point.
- A full HR qualification is not necessary, on the job experience is of equal importance. or may have gained your knowledge on the job.
