Overview
We are seeking a Teacher of OCR GCSE Physical Education who can deliver high-quality practical and theoretical lessons across all key stages.
The role offers the opportunity to contribute to the sporting and personal development of pupils and to inspire a lifelong appreciation of physical activity and sport.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality practical and theoretical lessons in Physical Education (OCR GCSE).
- Teach across all key stages and contribute to departmental administration as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues within a supportive Department of Sport led by the Director of Sport to deliver engaging lessons and extracurricular opportunities.
- Help develop pupils’ confidence, resilience, teamwork, and personal development through sport.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience of teaching OCR GCSE Physical Education.
- Ability to deliver engaging lessons and extracurricular activities; pastoral leadership experience would be advantageous.
- Experience of managing a fixtures programme and contributing to departmental administration would be welcomed.
